It is time to start thinking about trade shows and display booths. I know many people who host kiosks in the malls using display booths. I don't need anything fancy for selling books, but I do love to look at what is available, whether I need it - can afford it - or not. The displays shown at high end trade shows can give the small guys some ideas on how to compete.
The first thing is to consider yourself a real business that needs to be nurtured and promoted. Most small business owners never consider trade show booths or designer booths - costing them thousands of dollars in leads.
Show exhibits can be used in travelling trade shows or in a retail store - at a fraction of the cost of hiring a retail store designer. The 'secret of the game' is to give consumers the experience they want. When consumers are happy, they buy, and as the large online shopping stores are teaching us, the consumers don't care where they shop - as long as they get the desired experience.
